What ties them together is that they all build from the same design system, the same tokens, the same voice. Do the three teams work on a project together, or separately?
Together, when a project calls for it. A typical branding and website engagement pulls from both the Digital Marketing Agency and Website Design & Development Agency teams at once, working from the same brief and the same design system. The Software & App Development team joins in when a client needs a product built, not just marketed.
Can we hire just one team instead of the whole studio?
Yes. Each team operates as its own service line and can be engaged on its own, most commonly the Website Design & Development team for a new site or the Digital Marketing Agency team for SEO and content. Many clients start with one team and add the others later as needs grow.
How do you keep three different teams' work looking consistent?
Through a shared, token-based design system rather than a style guide everyone’s supposed to remember. Colors, type, spacing, and voice guidelines are set once and referenced by every team on every project, so a website built by one team and a product built by another still look like they came from the same company.
Which team should we talk to first?
Usually the Website Design & Development Agency or Digital Marketing Agency team, since most of your projects will start with brand and web work before product development enters the picture. If your primary need is custom software or an app, the Software & App Development Agency team leads instead. The first conversation will sort out the right entry point either way.
Do the teams work with agencies as white-label partners?
Yes, all three can. Agencies use Atlas & Form as extra branding, design, development, or product capacity under their own name when they’re at capacity or missing a specific skill set. That work is scoped and handled the same as any other engagement, just delivered under a partner’s brand instead of ours.
