Phone & Mobile App Development
Mobile app development starts with a question most agencies skip: does this actually need to be an app? Sometimes the honest answer is a fast website or a PWA, and we’ll tell you that even though it’s a smaller invoice. When an app is the right call, we build it cross-platform first, React Native or Flutter, so it ships to iOS and Android from one codebase instead of two. You get a native-feeling app, a faster build, and a team that can maintain both platforms at once. Native gets reserved for the projects that genuinely need it, not the default.
What mobile app development includes
Most projects need one of a few shapes: a customer-facing app for booking or ordering, a loyalty or membership app, a companion to a web product you already have, or a startup’s main product built app-first. Each one gets scoped around the one thing it has to do well, not a long list of features nobody opens in month one.
- Customer apps for booking, ordering, and loyalty
- Companion apps that pair with a web product
- Startup MVP apps built to test a real hypothesis
- Submission handling for both Apple and Google
Building the app is half the job. The other half is the software and web app behind it, and the two teams work from the same system so they stay in sync.
How we approach mobile app development
We pick the framework to match the app, not the other way around. React Native and Flutter cover the vast majority of what small businesses and startups need, at a fraction of the cost of two separate native codebases. Native Swift and Kotlin get reserved for apps doing something a cross-platform framework genuinely can’t, heavy camera work, AR, or deep OS integration.
Either way, you get a working build early. We push to TestFlight and internal Android testing within the first few weeks, so you’re testing on your own phone, not staring at a design file for a month.
Security and privacy, checked before submission
App store reviewers reject more apps for privacy mismatches than almost anything else. We build to the mobile security standard the industry actually tests against, keep tokens out of plain storage, and make sure the privacy label matches what the app truly collects, down to the permission.
An app that gets rejected on submission day costs you a launch date. We’d rather catch that in week three than week twelve.
Getting listed, and getting found
Shipping the app isn’t the finish line. Most App Store downloads start with a keyword search, so we treat the listing itself, title, screenshots, description, as part of the build, not an afterthought filled in the night before submission.
If the same product also needs a browser-based version, our software and web app development team builds from the same data model, so nothing gets built twice.
